This is a body of work that started in 2025 using discarded billboard as substrate material and adding other papers.

These pieces are a reflection of our own minds and the stuff we have going on. The damaged, folded, scratched materials are the marks of living. The scars that act as constellations. Inspired by this poem of Whitney Hanson:

your heart is tattooed with scars

etched with the names of people

who are constellations now

i think it is beautiful

that you hold the night sky

in your chest
