Poetry of Perception is a work that deals with how we perceive others and what we consider to be the truth. These works show excerpts from images with symbols such as status objects, words, social roles, people, emotions… We do not see the whole picture. This is an invitation to reflect on how we think about others. The stories we tell ourselves and firmly believe in. How we perceive others has more to do with what we already know than with what we see. Human beings are complex, and there are more sides to a person than we can know. I arrange these individual elements based on a universal story. This allows me to make connections and create a new interpretation. When we break down these structures and arrange them in different combinations, we tell ourselves a different story, a different narrative. We are constantly adding new meanings. It is the poetry of our perception to think about what we tell ourselves about others and to question it.
