What it is
Retrospektive – The Window is a curated art window in the side display case of Retro Optik, an optician’s shop on Viktoriastraße in Munich. Month by month, a different artist takes over the glass — so art steps out of the gallery and into the street, met by passers-by in the reflection of everyday life. Looking back through glass, where art meets reflection.

A work about unlearning hate. Against the habit of watching destruction and walking on, LaSoto asks for an intelligence that is able to feel — and proposes thinking with the heart as our way of disobeying.
